Artist's Comments
I always believed that Roy and Hughes grew up together or just knew each other back in military school. They're so cute together (as buddies); Hughes always being so supportive yet always so frustrating around Roy. I submitted this for the contest at [link]. The theme was what would it be like when the military personnel were younger? Here's little Roy Mustang and little Maes Hughes.
Again, this is entirely from Illustrator. Even the coloring! So it took longer to finish up. But I was so excited to do this one. I don't know if the administrators at the fanart contest site will validate my piece but oh well. And...does anyone know how old Hughes is? I honestly couldn't find out so I had to estimate! Now I'm curious. Enjoy! |
